I am an assistant professor at the Ivey Business School at Western University where I teach undergraduate and MBA students and do research in microeconomics. Prior to Ivey I spent time at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and Whitman College. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas in 2014 and my Bachelor of Science from Bentley University in 2009. Over the last decade I have taught over 1500 students in the field of microeconomics through the courses Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Industrial Organization, Behavioral Economics and Business Statistics. In addition to these courses, my teaching interests include Field Experiments in Economics, Computational Economics, Managerial Economics and Econometrics. My research lies at the intersection of behavioural economics, mechanism design, and experimentation, with a particular focus on auction design. I am trained in the experimental method, and often test theoretical models with field and laboratory experiments for their policy and behavioural implications. I am also a Co-founder of Thrive Mind Consulting, LLC and a Co-creator of Transform Workplaces. On sunny weekends, I prefer to be running, golfing, cooking up something amazing, or on the swing with my daughter.
